FUJI NDT X-ray Film
Fujifilm industrial X-ray films feature revolutionary new film technology. The combination of the latest in emulsion making science and computerized manufacturing processes assure consistent batch-to-batch performance; optimum image quality and compatibility with all NDT chemistries and current brand tank / automatic processing conditions.
The Fujifilm family of films incorporate unique speed, and grain technologies thus permitting their use over a wide range of applications with consistent high quality regardless of the material examined and the source of radiation employed.
An appropriate choice is made among the eight types of Fujifilm Industrial Radiographic Film according to the material and thickness of specimens, the kilo voltage or energy of radiation, and the required accuracy of inspection.
Fuji IX-100 is for non-destructive materials testing with fine grain and high contrast. This film, of ASTM class 2, is especially suitable for test objects of medium to high density. This film ist can be used for testing with isotopes or X-rays and yields a high contrast. The use of fluorescent or fluorometallic foils is also possible. IX-100 can be used with or without lead foils.
Fuji IX-50 is for non-destructive materials testing with ultrafine grain and high contrast. This film, of ASTM class 1, has outstanding sharpness and fine detail. It is particularly suitable for low density materials. IX-50 can be used with or without lead foils.
IX100 is equivalent to D7 and IX50 is equivalent to D4
